How to reach Carnia
You can easily reach Carnia by taking highway A23 Udine-Tarvisio and by choosing the Carnia-Tolmezzo exit (only 33 km away from Udine). When you leave the highway, you can reach all the various resorts in a 30-minute drive.
All roads can be travelled also in winter without any problem.
Carnia is well connected to the national railway network through the railway station of Udine (travelling by the Rome-Vienna route) and boasts an efficient bus service.
